We were down for a minute or so, but this time I saw the error that probably caused the outage last night.  I'll be doing some research on that, but in the meantime my automatic restart script should keep things under control.


Update: Unfortunately the automatic restart script didn't quite work as planned; fortunately I was around to catch it, so we were only down for about three minutes this time.  I've tested out the script, so that shouldn't happen again.

I'm still looking into the problem: There's an error in one of the system libraries, and I need to find out which one and get it patched.

While I'm working on resolving that, I'm also going to start up a second server for the beta test, set to restart instantly if an error occurs, and then migrate everyone over to that.  This shouldn't have any visible effect to you at all, except that the site won't go down for more than a second or two at any time.  You won't even need to log in again.
