Planned Maintenance - Saturday 12 June 8AM GMT
We'll be offline for about 20 minutes on Saturday morning (late Friday night for most parts of the US) to do some database maintenance in preparation for the rollout of Minx 1.2 - mostly adding new indexes.

I've been following your progress on minx (mostly via Ambient Irony) for quite some time, and enjoy the notes about all the successes you have had with optimizing the unfortunately required comment spam management.
There is one minor feature left on that - correct the comment count on the articles after removing the spam. Not a huge issue, since your show/hide comment functionality is really fast, but trying to view 5 comments and only seeing one is mildly annoying.
If I ever decide to actually run a blog of my own, mee.nu is where it will live.

Thanks. And yes, tthe comment count thing is a bug that's fixed in the new release.
